Delivery Times – Printing Kit
All impression kits will be posted Royal Mail 1st Class within 1 day of ordering but please allow up to 5 working days for delivery. After you have taken the prints please up-load them via our website link which will be detailed on our confirmation e-mail. (need to compose standard confirmation email for prints and or ashes)
Delivery Times – Jewellery
We will always aim to complete your items within 21 days after receiving either your putty or ink prints. During busy periods, this time may be extended. If you require an express service, please ensure you discuss this before placing your order. All online jewellery orders will be posted 1st class royal mail recorded delivery; a copy of the tracking number will be filed on you order information for our record’s.
Urgent Orders – Express Service
Please get in touch if you have an urgent or specific order (link to contact us) as we will always try our hardest to work our magic and fulfil your request.
High Level Business Times e.g. Mother’s Day/Father’s Day/Christmas
Due to the high number of orders placed at these times, we will clearly state on our website the latest date for ordering and returning prints. Any orders placed or prints returned after these dates cannot be guaranteed for delivery before that occasion. We are unable to process any refunds or cancellations of orders missing these deadline dates.
Refund Policy
All Lasting Memories orders are handmade and personalised therefore are non-refundable. In the event of a production error any problem that is brought to our attention within 7 days of receiving your order we will of course be replaced and resolved.
GDPR
On the day of your appointment, you will be asked to sign your order sheet. This will give full permission for us (Lasting Memories) to contact you with emails and offers. It will give Consent to Lasting Memories and any company we work with to use photographs of you, your child and your order at any stage of production. This would be for marketing and promotional Materials including but not limited to Social Media platforms and websites. Of course, there is an option to opt out if you so wish.
Payment
To make your booking we ask for a small deposit to secure your agreed time and date. This will be deducted from your total order on the day of your appointment.
When attending your appointment, we ask for a further deposit of 50% of your order total. The balance will be due on collection approximately 3 weeks later. Payment options accepted are Cash, Credit/ Debit Card or Bank Transfer.
All Lasting Memories life casting orders are personal and unique; therefore, they cannot be refunded.
Rescheduling or Cancelling your Booking
If you need to reschedule your appointment don’t worry this can be done up to 12 hours before your appointment and your deposit will be transferred. Booking deposits are non-refundable if you cancel your appointment.
Collection
We will always aim to complete your items within 21 days after your casting or jewellery appointment with us. For all customers who visit us out with our studio – at Lasting Memories Partners Premises – as we generally only work there once a month, collection would be the next date we are there. You will always have the option to come and collect from us at the studio once your finished order is complete. During busy periods, this time may be extended. If you require an express service, please ensure you discuss this within your appointment.
On completion of your order, we will contact you to make the necessary arrangements for collection – at a date and time that suits you best.

Gift Vouchers
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Due to the impact of Covid-19 vouchers purchased before March 23rd 2020 will be extended by a further 12 months.
Gift Experiences packages
Gift Experiences are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. If you wish to choose a different Experience that’s no problem at all, the value of the original gift experiences purchased will be deducted from your new choice. Any additional costs can be paid for at your appointment. No refund will be given If you choose a package of a lesser amount.
Caring For Your Jewellery
All jewellery is delicate and susceptible to damage and scratching. Although our pieces are solid silver this is a relatively soft metal and we recommend that you remove your jewellery when doing manual work such as housework and gardening.
To maintain the original condition of your silver jewellery you should polish your pieces regularly – using the free polishing cloth provided. Avoid using chemical silver dips on your jewellery as this will remove antique finishing. Regularly check your pieces for wear and tear of fixings. With all Cremation Ash Jewellery Items additional care instructions are included with your order.
Fingerprint Jewellery
For the best result with your fingerprints, we recommend our Touch the Silver Service. Putty prints are a great alternative especially if you are unable to visit us. Please be advised when using putty prints that your finished piece of jewellery will only be as good as the print taken.
If you are supplying your own print via our upload service this will look entirely different. All uploaded prints are made via a stamp and the fingerprint will need to be enlarged to produce this.
Taking Your Impression and your impressions clarity
Lasting Memories supply full instructions on how to take prints alongside enough putty to provide 2 clear prints. You will be able to see from your putty impression just how clear the print is. If your mould is deemed as unsuitable by ourselves, we will request you send us another print.
For your piece of hand and or foot jewellery we will supply enough inkless wipes and inkless paper to capture the prints needed.
All jewellery items are handmade therefore will not look exactly the same as the items photographed on the website.
Memorial Ashes, Hair or Pet Fur Items
All items are hand crafted including the mix of colour shades, therefore will not look exactly the same as the items photographed on the website.
Visibility of Hair is unpredictable due to the unique and individual nature. Results will vary depending on hair colour and resin choice. Your item is bespoke and unique to you and no refund or replacement can be offered.
Any unused ashes or hair will be returned with your finished order.
Once you have received you completed order along with your care instructions it is your responsibility to care for them correctly. These jewellery items are very precious and can break if not handled and cared for correctly. No refund or replacement will be offered for broken or damaged items.
Covid 19 Disclaimer
On the day of your appointment, you will be asked to confirm the following information on arrival.
Have you or anyone in your household experienced any flu-like or Covid 19 symptoms in the last 14 days?
Have you been in contact with anyone exhibiting Covid-19 symptoms within the last 14 days?
Due to the nature of casting it is not possible for us you adhere to the social distancing guidelines, therefore are you happy for us to proceed with the use PPE?
If within the next 14 days of today’s date, you show any Covid 19 symptoms you agree to contact us as a matter of urgency.
You will be asked to sign a copy of the disclaimer acknowledging that all the information given above is correct at your appointment.
