Our “Touch the Silver” fingerprint necklace is designed to capture your loved ones cherished fingerprint.

Crafted from Sterling Silver, this unique necklace requires an appointment to “touch the silver”.  Make an appointment to visit us, or alternatively we can visit your loved one whether this is in the hospital, hospice, or funeral home .

When making your necklace, your loved ones finger is gently pressed onto our silver clay, which is then shaped, fired, and hand-polished for a unique, bespoke, individual piece of jewellery.

Why is Touch The Silver so Special?

Our unique "Touch the Silver Service", involves an in-person appointment. Your child or loved ones' fingerprint captured directly into the silver - meaning every piece has been physically touched .

Notes about fingerprints:

All children develop fingerprints at different ages. Lasting Memories recommend fingerprint jewellery for children over the age of 2 years, older children and adults. For children under 2 years, we recommend our hand and footprint range.

Call-Out Fee Terms and Conditions:

1. Booking and Application
A non-refundable call-out charge of £25.00 applies to all mobile appointments where the customer is unable to visit the Lasting Memories studio at KA3.  This fee covers travel time and transportation costs associated with bringing the silver jewellery fingerprinting service to your location.

2. Payment
The £25.00 call-out fee must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure your appointment.  This charge is separate from, and in addition to, the cost of the jewellery pieces ordered.

3. Coverage Area
Mobile appointments are subject to availability within our designated service radius of 25 miles. If your address is out with this radius please contact us for an accurate call out charge.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
• Cancellations: If you cancel the appointment, the £25.00 call-out fee is non-refundable.
• Rescheduling: We require at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule. If sufficient notice is provided, the fee may be transferred to your new appointment date (subject to availability).
• No-Shows: If you are not present at the agreed location at the time of the appointment, the fee will be forfeited.

Estimated completion time for this item is 2 weeks from your loved one "Touching the Silver", but can be turned around quicker if needed. Photos will show differently in various sources of light.

All Lasting Memories orders are handmade and personalised. All colours and shades may differ slightly from any images seen on any of our marketing and social media outlets.

Your finished piece of jewellery will arrive in a presented gift box.

Estimated Delivery Time

All items are individually handcrafted to order and will be dispatched approximately 8-10 weeks after we receive your inclusions.

Important: Items featuring Cubic Zirconia (CZ) stones are recommended for occasional wear only.

To Maintain the Beauty of Your Jewellery:

  • Use the silver polishing cloth provided to gently clean your jewellery.
  • Store your piece in its original box, away from direct sunlight.

To Prevent Damage:

  • Avoid bumping, scratching, or sleeping in your jewellery.
  • Do not submerge your jewellery in water or any liquid, as the resin is not waterproof.
  • Refrain from wearing your jewellery while showering, swimming, or during any water-related activities.
  • Protect your jewellery from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which may cause the resin to discolour.
  • Keep your jewellery away from harsh chemicals including perfume, hairspray, hand sanitiser, and cleaning products.
